I started this book and I was like I know I'm going to get my heart broken

I'm not going to lie.. when I read the sypnosis of this book I was hesitant to read it because I'm not into "triangles" because the heroine always goes for the safer choice and not the right one, but boy was I wrong... its just so much more.. I started this book and I was like I know I'm going to get my heart broken, but Its just so good that I need to continue.. I did finish it and I was freaking blown away.. I'm not a big fan of fairytales and books like this one, but this book definitely changed my POV about them.. We meet Ginger, Woodman and Cain...
I fell in love with Ginger instantly let's be honest she is just beautiful and amazing.. she won my heart when she was 12.. but boy at the end of the book I wanted my own damn Ginger
Woodman.. well with him I wanted to hate him, but I didn't in the end.. yes he was the safer choice the best friend.. we knew he was going to be the right one, but from the start I knew he wasn't the one.. I respected him in the sense of being with Ginger even thought he knew were her heart was.. its hard to deal with falling in love with someone who is obviously in love with someone else.. so kudos to you my man for that..
Cain... now bare with me here because this dude is just wow!! I have no words Team Cain for the win!!!! I loved Cain since page 1!!! yes there were times where I was like dammit Cain!!! Why Cain, etc, but I understood him completely because when you love someone as much as he did Ginger you want the best for them even when you think you're not it.. you rather see them shine and be with someone else than hurt them.. and this is what my boy Cain did he stepped aside and put aside his feelings to make Woodman and Ginger happy.. what he didn't realize was that "the right choice" broke Ginger.. In the end I was happy on how the end turned out because Cain really truly deserved to be happy..
As a guy I'm going to say that this book changed my POV in some things.. not going to get into details, but I'm glad I read it and I will continue to support this amazing author without a doubt so I give 5 Happily ever after stars to this book!!!!

How can you describe perfection??

I'm having trouble finding words to describe how I feel about this book. How can I put into words the feelings I have for characters who touched my heart in such profound ways. Katy has such a way with words. I felt every happy feeling, every heartbreak, every tear shed. I laughed at Cain's witty nature, my heart broke for the bad boy with an amazing heart.. It ached for him in so many ways. There are so many feels.. So so many.. The loss, the love, the healing, the words of wisdom. The shift in the story where it all changes.. More than once.. There are so many things I want to say... I just don't know how..
Cain ~ the bad boy with the amazing heart who does’t feel worthy
Woodman ~ the golden boy who has his life all planned out
Ginger ~ the girl they both love and she loves them both in wildly completely different ways
… How can this possibly end well????
It is destined that someone is going to get hurt…
And boy does it hurt… In ways that you won’t expect. Things happen that you NEVER see coming from a mile away.. until it hits, and it hits hard. And you're left wondering how your shattered heart will be whole again.. But it mends. Katy's beautiful way with words heals that broken heart.
I had all sorts of pre conceived notions when I stated this book.. I had a clear cut winner before I opened to page 1… that the is the problem with preconceived notions. They tend to be WRONG… This book was more than I anticipated it could be, nothing of what I expected it to be and everything I wanted it to be!! There is something that is so pure in the love they all have for one another born out of a lifetime of memories. No malice.. No intentional heartbreak so to speak and that's what hurts the most. Misunderstandings, lost opportunities, words left unsaid.. But true love has a way of finding its way no matter what..
There are things you know at a soul deep level. Who you love. Who you are meant to love in the deepest depth of your being can’t be ignored no matter what your head might tell you. Ginger always had to follow her heart..

An unforgettable love story

Ginger's Heart is Katy Regnery's new modern fairy tale based on Little Red Riding Hood. It's a story about the Three Musketeers of McHuid Farm: Virginia Laire McHuid aka Ginger and her two childhood friends Cain Holden Wolfram and Josiah Asher Woodman. Cain and Josiah are cousins (born to identical twin sisters Sarah and Sophie) and couldn't be more different.
The blond haired and green eyed Josiah is the golden boy of Apple Valley. He is the son of a local banker and is raised up in a wealthy family. The Woodmans and the McHuids are very close. They spend a lot of time together and invite each other to social events.
The dark haired and blue eyed Cain is the trouble maker of Apple Valley. His father is the stallion manager at the McHuid farm. Even though his father Klaus and Ginger's father Ranger are on good terms, the Wolframs are excluded from the fancy festivities at the McHuid household.
Despite their differences, each cousin owns a piece of Ginger's heart. Over the years the dynamic between these three will change when feelings get into the mix that go far beyond friendship. Promises will be made and hearts will be broken. It will all come down to one question: Who will Ginger chose? The tender hearted golden boy that makes her feel safe and gives her stability or the blue eyed unpredictable devil that sets her heart on fire?
One thing is sure: There are two cousins and one girl. Someone wins and someone loses.
Teams will be chosen and lines will be drawn. In the end not everyone will be happy. I'm not going to tell you whom Ginger will chose, you need to read this amazing book in order to find out! Go into this book with an open heart and mind. I promise you it will not leave you unaffected. For those of you who are wondering if there is a menage I guarantee you there isn't! The triangle in this book is an emotional and not a physical one.
Katy Regnery's flawless writing took me on a reading journey I will soon not forget! She has the ability to make you feel all the feels and write characters you will hold dear to your heart long after you have finished the book.
